About us

We are different from other Public Practice Accountants. Yes, I know they all say that but we really are.

We are in the somewhat unique position of being big enough to provide tons of advancement possibilities and yet small enough to allow our team members to really show what they can do. Our most recent Partner started at LLT in a seasonal position in 2013 while he completed his degree. He remained with us, learning, growing and developing after the end of the seasonal contract and achieved Partner before the age of 28.

Based in beautiful Chilliwack, BC, we have amazing relationships within the community which has resulted in our client base continually growing at such a rate that we need more experienced Accounting Managers to join our team.

About the job

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the management of accounting engagements. Some key responsibilities of the Accounting Manager are:

• Manage the work lists of accounting staff in conjunction with the Partners and other Accounting Managers
• Review client files after file preparation is complete
• Prepare and/or review tax plans on accounting engagements
• Prepare manager reviews for files prepared by Junior Accountants
• Train and provides support for new staff
• Understand clients’ financial statements and advise them on various ways to improve their business

As an Accounting Manager you should have your CPA designation and have a proven track record of providing excellent service to clients.

Pay: $44.00-$54.00 per hour

Experience:

• Public Practice Accounting: 5 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
