ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Preparing asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

·         Providing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other relevant reports.

·         Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports.

·         Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents and performs various accounts reconciliation activities within the deadline.

·         Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

·         Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures, following internal controls and securing financial information by completing database backups.

·         Preparing payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursement.

·         Creating budget, managing expense claims, reconciling bank statements, bills and pays runs through the accounting software.

·         Answering accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.

·         Guiding clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.

·         Complying with national, provincial and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.

·         Ensuring that company accounting and financial transactions especially taxations are logged in Xero, QuickBooks or other accounting software.

·         Representing the company on BIR and taxation matters.

·         Maintaining customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

·         Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

·         Coordinating with international accounting firm to handle public listed firm for auditing purposes.

·         Performs tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
