ACCOUNTING MANAGER

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the company's finance and accounting operations, overseeing the accounting, treasury, and tax functions. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash and treasury management, tax compliance, strong internal controls, and timely financial information for management decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Accounting, Treasury, and Tax teams.
• Oversee general accounting, financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing, and account reconciliation.
• Monitor treasury operations, cash position, bank transactions, and project-related collections/take-outs.
• Oversee tax compliance, tax filings, and coordination with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Ensure proper financial controls, segregation of duties, and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure the proper utilization and accuracy of data within Sage 300 (Sage Accpac).
• Review financial transactions and reports and ensure timely resolution of variances and unreconciled accounts.
• Coordinate with Operations, Dev-Loan, Procurement, Engineering, and other departments on financial matters.
• Provide management with accurate financial analysis and reports.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with management/supervisory experience.
• Experience handling accounting, treasury, and tax functions.
• Experience in real estate development, construction, or project-based companies is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and Philippine tax compliance.
• We highly prefer candidates who possess experience with Sage 300 / Sage Accpac.
• CPA is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
