Accounting Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting operations, maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing timely financial and management reports, and ensuring proper tax and audit coordination.

The role will also be responsible for the setup, implementation, and management of accounting and POS systems for food service/restaurant operations. The successful candidate will work primarily at our Silang, Cavite location, with possible assignments to our other branches in Makati, Greenhills, and Venice Mall to monitor and oversee their accounting records and financial activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts
• Prepare timely financial statements and management reports for management review
• Set up, implement, and maintain accounting and POS systems for food service/restaurant operations
• Monitor sales, expenses, cash flow, and other financial transactions across company branches
• Monitor and review the accounting records and financial activities of other branches as assigned
• Conduct regular account reconciliations and ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records
• Establish and maintain proper internal controls and accounting procedures
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors regarding tax filings, audits, and required documentation
• Monitor tax and regulatory compliance and ensure timely submission of required filings
• Review and improve accounting processes, procedures, and systems
• Provide accounting and financial support to management in decision-making
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as may be assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or in a similar accounting leadership role
• Food service or restaurant industry experience is required/preferred
• Proven experience in setting up and managing accounting and POS systems for food service/restaurant operations
• Strong knowledge and experience in bookkeeping and maintaining complete and accurate books of accounts
• Experienced in preparing timely financial and management reports
• Knowledge of tax compliance, statutory requirements, and audit coordination
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel or report to other branches in Makati, Greenhills, and Venice Mall as needed for branch accounting monitoring and related assignments
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with branch teams, management, external accountants, and auditors

Work Location

Primary Workplace: Silang, Cavite

Possible Branch Assignments: Makati, Greenhills, and Venice Mall

The position is primarily based in Silang, with occasional travel or assignments to other company branches for accounting monitoring, review, and coordination.

Pay: Php35,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
