Accounting Manager

• This role has a varied schedule based on the tax season:February 1st
• April 15th (approximately 10 weeks): Expect to work around 65 hours per week
• Remaining 42 weeks: The standard work week is 37.50 hours. This typically breaks down to 8:00 AM
• 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (with a one hour lunch), and 8:00 AM
• 1:30 PM on Fridays (no lunch)Benefits:

• 401k matched at 3% after one year of employment
• Potential of hybrid schedule after 90 days of employment
• New client payout: For clients that you bring in, you will receive 10% of billings for 3 years (so long as the client is billed at a standard hourly rate)Key Responsibilities:
• Manage 3+ staff members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth
• Engage in direct communication with clients, build strong relationships, and ensure client satisfaction
• Project management to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting and tax engagements
• Play a crucial role in transition clients from a retiring partner, ensuring a seamless experience and continuity of serviceSkills & Experience Required:
• 7-10 years of CPA firm management experience
• Proven leadership and client management skills
• Exceptional technical expertise in tax and accounting
