Accounting Manager

About the role

This role involves managing and overseeing accounting operations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. You will oversee month-end closing processes and prepare monthly financial reports, manage accounting data and financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and company requirements, and handle tax preparation and submissions in accordance with Thai law.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee accounting operations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Oversee month-end closing processes and prepare monthly financial reports
• Prepare and review Management Reports, Financial Reports, and Consolidation Packages
• Ensure accounting data and financial reporting comply with accounting standards and company requirements
• Prepare and submit tax filings and tax returns in compliance with Thai law
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with legal requirements and coordinate with external auditors
• Verify accuracy of accounting entries and financial reports, analyse and monitor irregularities
• Oversee Internal Control and Accounting Control systems in line with group company policies
• Manage and coordinate with Internal and External Auditors, and track resolution of audit findings
• Monitor and study updates to accounting standards, laws, and tax regulations to ensure company compliance
• Develop and improve accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls for greater efficiency
• Provide advisory support to relevant departments on accounting and tax matters
• Manage, develop, and coach the accounting team to improve efficiency and work quality
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, legal advisors, and external agencies on accounting and tax matters
• Support special projects and other tasks as assigned by management

About you

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in Manufacturing, Trading, or Service businesses
• Knowledge and experience in Financial Reporting, Month-end Closing, Tax, and Statutory Accounting
• Knowledge of Thai accounting standards and tax laws
• Experience in Internal Control and Internal/External Audit
• Strong team management, communication, and coordination skills
• Proficient in Thai and English, both spoken and written
• High sense of responsibility, honesty, and professional ethics
• Able to work independently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Initiative, ability to collaborate with others, and team development skills
