Accounting Manager

Overview

The Accounting Manager is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the organization’s accounting operations. This position reports directly to the Chief Finance Officer and plays a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance. The Accounting Manager supervises the Accountant and Accounts Payable team members, actively engaging in daily accounting activities and month-end closing processes to support the organization’s financial health.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational policies.
• Manage the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the Accountant and Accounts Payable team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, audits, and process improvements.
• Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.

Pay: $60,800.00 - $65,000.00 per year
