Role Description The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Caloocan City. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. The Accounting Manager monitors fixed asset records, supervises month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and local tax regulations. The position involves analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and implementing process improvements to strengthen internal controls. The Accounting Manager also leads and mentors accounting staff to maintain high-quality financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and Finance, including preparation, analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and management of Fixed Assets, including tracking, depreciation, and reconciliation.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying variances, and supporting decision-making.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end closing processes, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; ability to work with spreadsheets and financial models.
• Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to supervise and develop accounting staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum of several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing/food-related environment.
