Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department

• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain and update the general ledger and chart of accounts

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable

• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce reports and statements

• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts with analysis and recommendations

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff

• Communicate financial results and issues to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience

• Proven experience in a senior accounting or financial management role

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems

• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Very good English

Pay: E£70.00 - E£90.00 per month
