Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in financial management, Philippine tax compliance, and SAP, with experience in the retail distribution industry.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.
• Manage budgeting, cash flow, and internal financial controls.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and distribution-related financial transactions.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of SAP for accounting and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.
• Lead the accounting team and drive process improvements.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA license is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant accounting experience, with managerial or supervisory experience.
• Background in retail, distribution, trading, or FMCG is highly preferred.
• Strong SAP proficiency and experience using the system for accounting and financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of Philippine taxation, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
