ACCOUNTING MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join COPYLANDIA SALES CORPORATION in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing our financial accounting and reporting functions. As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and the timely delivery of financial reports. This position is integral to maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation and supporting strategic decision-making at all levels of management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Manage the accounts reconciliation process and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting policies, procedures and best practices
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements and financial reporting standards
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare documentation for audit processes
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Analyse financial data and prepare reports for management review and decision-making
• Manage the accounting budget and monitor departmental expenditures
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and supporting documentation

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (CPA) is highly desirable
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting roles
• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (IFRS, GAAP) and financial reporting requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership capability with experience supervising accounting teams
• Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
