Accounting Manager

About the role

Responsible for managing accounting operations, financial closing, tax compliance, accounting records, audit support, and accounting team performance to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations, monthly closing, and financial statement preparation
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, tax documents, and supporting records
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and related internal departments
• Review cost, AR, AP, GL, tax, and billing information as required
• Improve accounting processes, controls, documentation, and team capability

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Minimum 5–10 years of accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax, closing, reconciliation, and audit process
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with ERP or related business system is preferred
• CPD/CPA is an advantage
• Experience in manufacturing, steel, or group-company accounting is preferred
• English reading and writing ability is an advantage
