- Underwriter & Regulatory Compliance: Prepare the monthly underwriter premium remittance and the annual Data Call, and serve as the main contact for the underwriter audit. File monthly NYS sales tax and oversee the annual unclaimed funds (escheatment) process.
- Tax, Insurance & Corporate Administration: Prepare fiscal-year financials and support the outside CPA with corporate tax filings. Manage E&O, cyber, and other business insurance renewals, licenses, and industry memberships.
- Team Leadership & Internal Controls: Supervise, train, and evaluate the Accounting Assistant. Maintain SOPs and segregation of duties consistent with ALTA Best Practices, and lead process improvements with Title operations, HR, and leadership.
