ACCOUNTING MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join BW Superbakeshop-Eljin in Tarlac City, Tarlac. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organisation. As Accounting Manager, you will oversee all accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and operational objectives within the manufacturing and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records on a regular basis
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts
• Manage the company's accounting systems and software, ensuring data integrity and security
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of tax obligations
• Support financial planning and budgeting processes for the organisation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent qualification is highly desirable
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting management or a senior accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team supervision and development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics industries is advantageous
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance is preferred
