Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, supporting their development
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process
• Develop and maintain internal controls across the accounting function
• Partner with FP&A and other departments on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs
• Identify and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including prior supervisory or management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end/year-end close processes
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
