Accounting Manager

1. General Ledger (GL) & Financial Reporting:

• Oversee and review the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Coordinate daily bookkeeping and reconciliation activities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and fixed asset management.

2. Taxation & Compliance:

• Manage local tax filings in Singapore (e.g., Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, corporate income tax filings, etc.).

• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate secretaries to ensure that the company’s financial operations strictly adhere to the regulations set by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).

3. Treasury & Budgeting:

• Monitor corporate cash flow, manage bank accounts, and oversee daily treasury operations.

• Assist management in developing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cost-control initiatives; conduct regular variance analysis between actual expenditures and budgeted figures.

4. Internal Control & Process Optimization:

• Establish, refine, and implement internal financial control systems to mitigate financial and operational risks.

• Drive the automation of financial processes and oversee the implementation or upgrading of financial software systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, etc.).

5. Team & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead and mentor junior-to-mid-level accounting staff, delegate tasks, and evaluate performance.

• Maintain close communication with management, business departments, and overseas headquarters (e.g., in China or other regional branches), providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Pay: $7,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
