Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager - is responsible for managing and monitoring an organization's financial activities, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring that financial transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards. This role often involves supervising finance staff, supporting budgeting decisions, and helping management maintain the company's financial stability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting – Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and summaries for management.
• Budget Management – Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and controlling costs.
• Financial Analysis – Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flow, and financial performance to support business decisions.
• Accounting and Reconciliation – Review financial transactions, account balances, and bank reconciliations for accuracy.
• Cash Flow Management – Monitor cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient funds for business operations.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable – Oversee payments to suppliers and the collection of outstanding customer balances.
• Tax and Regulatory Compliance – Ensure financial records and reports comply with applicable tax laws and accounting regulations.
• Internal Controls – Maintain financial procedures to prevent errors, fraud, and unauthorized transactions.
• Team Coordination – Guide junior finance staff and coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters.
• Management Support – Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.
• Typically, 3–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, depending on the employer.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage, depending on the position.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and expense monitoring.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.

• Experience in cash flow management and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
