Accounting Manager

We are seeking a strong Corporate Accounting Manager to join a growing organization and play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close process. This is a highly visible position that will work closely with senior finance leadership and help drive improvements across the accounting function.

The ideal candidate is a technically sound, hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, developing teams, improving processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and other key accounting functions.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and maintain strong internal controls across the accounting organization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Operations, and other departments to support financial reporting and business initiatives.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of annual financial audits, including working directly with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiencies, and strengthen financial controls.
• Support accounting for complex transactions, including intercompany activity, consolidations, accruals, and other corporate accounting matters.
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support ERP enhancements, system implementations, and automation initiatives.
• Participate in special projects and provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Public accounting experience, ideally with a Big 4 or national accounting firm, is a plus.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.
• Prior experience supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting professionals.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with senior leadership.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity while balancing broader management responsibilities.
