Accounting Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee U.S. accounting operations and lead a team of 4–6 accounting professionals. This role is responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, compliance, and process improvement while ensuring accurate and timely accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost accounting.
• Lead month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, consolidations, and financial statement preparation.
• Coordinate corporate tax filings with external providers and manage sales tax processes through Avalara.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Coordinate external audits and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
• Experience with month-end close and external audits preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
