Accounting Manager - General Accounting

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing the General Accounting function, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role also supervises the accounting team and supports month-end and year-end closing activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily General Accounting operations and transactions.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and auditors regarding accounting concerns.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations.
• Supervise, coach, and monitor the performance of the accounting team.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• With 3–5 years of relevant experience in General Accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• CPA is an advantage.
• With supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
