Accounting Manager (GL)

About the role

This role is responsible for general ledger accounting, journal entry preparation and review, account reconciliation, and month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing processes. The position supports the preparation of trial balances, financial statements, and accounting reports, and coordinates with external auditors and relevant departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger (GL) accounting, verify and record journal entries accurately, completely, and in accordance with accounting standards
• Prepare and review journal vouchers (JV) including accrued expenses, advance revenue, prepaid expenses, and other adjusting entries
• Verify and reconcile accounts between the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, including related items
• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process accurately and on schedule
• Prepare and verify supporting schedules for financial statements, analyse account movements and unusual items
• Support the preparation of trial balances, financial statements, and accounting reports for management
• Coordinate and prepare documentation for audit with external auditors and relevant departments
• Verify and control accounting work in compliance with financial reporting standards, tax laws, and company policies
• Analyse accounting issues, propose process improvements, and enhance accounting system efficiency

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience with direct experience in GL accounting and financial statement closing
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting standards (TFRS) and relevant tax laws
• Ability to prepare journal adjustments, reconcile accounts, and support financial statement preparation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems such as TRCLOUD, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Express
• Strong analytical skills, ability to verify data and resolve accounting issues systematically
• Attention to detail, high sense of responsibility, and ability to work within defined timelines
• Good coordination skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other departments
• Experience in hospital accounting, beauty clinic, or medical service business is a plus
