Accounting Manager (Operations)

The Accounting Manager / Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing overall accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Treasury functions. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, manages month-end and year-end closing, reviews Balance Sheet and P&L, and maintains effective internal controls and accounting procedures. The position also leads the accounting team, coordinates with banks and cross-functional departments, and drives process improvement initiatives to support efficient business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Treasury functions
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, collections, payments, and taxes
• Manage cash flow and review financial statements including Balance Sheet and P&L
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes
• Review Balance Sheet reconciliation and P&L analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with banks and manage intercompany reconciliation
• Develop and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and operational procedures
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support smooth business operations
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
• Lead and manage accounting team members and support team development
• Support ad-hoc assignments and finance projects

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Experience in the trading business is an advantage
• Strong knowledge in AP, AR, GL, treasury, and financial reporting
• Familiar with TFRS and Thai accounting standards, especially TFRS 16
• Experience in month-end/year-end closing and financial statement review
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English with ability to communicate, coordinate, and conduct meetings effectively.
• Big 4 audit experience (EY, PwC, Deloitte, or KPMG) is highly preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
