Accounting Manager/Controller

RWN Pump & Fabrication is a premier provider of heavy manufacturing, metal fabrication, and commercial fleet production services operating out of our state-of-the-art 53,000-square-foot facility in Springtown, Texas. Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Accounting Manager / Controller to lead our plant's financial operations. This role is a hands-on, plant-level leadership position responsible for maintaining financial integrity, optimizing standard manufacturing cost metrics, and driving inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate has deep experience in job-costing and production floor variance analysis within an industrial manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Accounting & Variance Analysis: Manage shop-floor standard costing, monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) valuations, perform material budgeting variance analysis, and identify production cost shortages.
• Financial Oversight: Manage day-to-day general ledger transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, corporate credit card reconciliations, and payroll operations.
• Inventory Control: Partner with warehouse management to audit raw materials, steel tracking, and finished components across the production ecosystem.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and executive performance KPI summaries for leadership review.
• ERP & Systems Leadership: Maintain, audit, and maximize the efficiency of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tracking architecture.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and enforce stringent internal accounting controls to safeguard corporate assets and streamline operational auditing.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is strictly required.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting management experience, specifically inside a heavy manufacturing, fabrication shop, or logistics warehouse setting.
• Technical Skills: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data modeling) and heavy exposure to manufacturing ERP databases.
• Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, standard cost accounting structures, and multi-tier raw material inventory pipelines.
• Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designations are a major asset but not strictly mandatory.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
