Accounting Offi

The Accounting Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role supports the finance team by managing daily accounting functions and assisting with financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and account analyses.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure timely payment of suppliers and collection of customer receivables.
• Prepare tax-related documents and assist with statutory compliance.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
