Accounting Officer (AR/AP)

About the role

Accounting Officer (AR/AP) responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, tax documentation, reconciliation, and coordination with relevant departments.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounts payable entries, set up liabilities, and code accounts correctly in the system
• Prepare payment vouchers and documents for supplier payments according to defined cycles and credit terms
• Prepare withholding tax certificates and supporting documents for tax filing forms (ภ.ง.ด.3 / ภ.ง.ด.53)
• Prepare and verify purchase tax reports for tax filing form (ภ.พ.30)
• Reconcile individual accounts payable and verify outstanding balances
• Prepare AP Aging Reports
• Prepare invoices, tax invoices, receipts, and debit/credit notes
• Record revenue and set up accounts receivable in the system correctly according to documents and accounting periods
• Prepare and verify sales tax reports
• Reconcile payment receipts with bank statements and verify discrepancies
• Verify and collect withholding tax certificates received from customers

About you

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in AR and/or AP accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles, value-added tax, and withholding tax
• Ability to prepare and verify documents (ภ.พ.30, ภ.ง.ด.3, ภ.ง.ด.53)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTable, and basic accounting-related formulas
• Experience with Express accounting software is a plus
• Attention to detail with strong document and numerical verification skills
• Able to work Monday to Saturday
