Accounting Officer / Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Officer / Assistant to join our Finance team in a leading media agency. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals with 2–3 years of experience to gain exposure across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, month-end closing, financial reporting, and regional finance operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager and gain valuable experience in a dynamic multinational business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Finance Manager in daily operations, month-end closing and monthly forecasts
• Process month-end duties and monitor AR, AP, GL and related financial matters, ensure transactions are recorded properly, accurately, timely and in compliance with statutory, SOX and group requirements
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, reconciliation & perform financial analysis
• Assist in implementation, maintenance and testing of financial controls within accounting and media systems to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Assist in external audits, tax filing and other statutory reporting
• Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Accounting (LCCI Higher or equivalent qualification)
• 2–3 years of accounting experience , preferably with exposure to GL, AP, AR and month-end closing
• Experience in the media or advertising industry is highly desirable
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
• Candidate will less experience will be considered as Accounting Assistant
