Accounting Officer

About the role

As the Accounting Officer at PT Samindo Resources Tbk, you will support the company's Accounting & Tax function by ensuring accurate financial recording, reconciliation, and reporting in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

• Record daily accounting transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare and post journal entries into the accounting system.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform bank, intercompany, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting documentation and records.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with PSAK, company accounting policies, and internal procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding accounting transactions and supporting documents.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in English (oral & written) is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience in shipping company is preferable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and PSAK.
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems (SAP is an advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
