Role Description The Accounting Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Manila. The position is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial records and financial statements in accordance with applicable standards and company policies. Daily tasks include recording transactions, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, and supporting the preparation of budgets and financial reports. The Accounting Officer will monitor expenses and revenues, verify documentation for payments, and work with accounting software to ensure data integrity and timely reporting. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights, support audits, and contribute to compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to apply principles to day-to-day operations.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and related reports.
• Experience using Accounting Software and related tools for recording, tracking, and reporting transactions.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying variances, and supporting decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in the Philippines.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
