Accounting Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. General Accounting:

a. Maintains all entries in accounting system, including AP, AR& GL, and prepares necessary adjusting entries;

b. Performs Month End Close processes, analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts;

c.  Maintains supporting schedules of accounts;

d. Maintain proper documentation for all transactions;

2. government contributions:

a. Check government contribution remittance data provided from HR department;

3. Daily:

a. Check all payment & reimbursement requests;

b. Prepare 2307 forms and send payment advisory email to suppliers, and monitor the collection of official receipts/sales invoice;

4. Regulatory bodies compliance:

a. Prepare file:

                     I.      BIR – ITR, VAT, Compensation Tax, Expanded Withholding Tax, FBT;

                    II.      SEC – AFS, GIS;

b. Check reports and file:

                     I.      Philhealth;

                    II.      SSS;

                  III.      HDMF

5. Others

a. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the company is aware of any potential tax liabilities;

b. Risk assessment and reporting of financial issues;

c.  Supervision of accounting assistant;

d. Contribution to SOP development and implementation;

e. Perform other ad hoc tasks that may be assigned by finance manager;

f.   Audit preparation and coordination;

g. VAT refund claim preparation and coordination
