Accounting Officer

We are a dynamic, growing insurance brokerage firm committed to delivering exceptional client services. Join our Accounting team as an experienced Accounting Officer to handle full-set accounts with a focus on brokerage-specific needs like commission handling and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities-

• Manage full-set accounting: AP/AR, GL, month-end closes, and financial reporting
• Calculate, allocate, and reconcile commissions and premiums accurately
• Liaise with company secretary on compliance matters, including Business Registration (BR) renewal, company registration updates, and statutory filings
• ​Coordinate with banks for commercial account openings, client accounts, and related banking transactions
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations; support budgeting, forecasting and audits
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and internal teams; handle ad-hoc financial projects

Requirements-

• Degree in Accounting/Finance; 2-3+ years’ experience (insurance brokerage preferred)
• Strong Excel/Accounting software skills; commission calculation knowledge a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Good command of Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive
