Accounting Officer

Job Summary

Supports the day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, billing and collections, payment verification, financial reporting, and end-to-end BIR tax compliance and processing. Ensures accurate recording, timely submission, and proper documentation of accounting and tax-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting books, ledgers, and financial records
• Handle billing, collections, and Accounts Receivable (AR) monitoring
• Prepare journal vouchers, trial balance, cash position reports, and other accounting schedules
• Handle end-to-end BIR processing, including preparation and filing of tax returns, withholding tax requirements, and other BIR-related documents
• Monitor BIR deadlines, tax compliance, and government remittances
• Verify payments, employee-related expenses, and supporting financial documents
• Prepare and organize accounting, tax, and finance records for filing and reference

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Knowledgeable in accounting principles and with hands-on experience in end-to-end BIR processing and compliance
• Familiar with tax returns, withholding taxes, government remittances, and other statutory requirements
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication and teamwork skills
