Accounting Officer

Job responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) accounting process.
• Perform account reconciliations for accounts payable, vendor balances, bank statements, and the General Ledger (GL).
• Oversee payment processing schedules, vendor invoice matching (3-way matching: PO, Receiving, Invoice), and outgoing cash flow management.
• Participate in system development and process optimization to improve AP operational efficiency and automation.
• Review and summarize petty cash expenses, employee reimbursement claims, and prepare accounting entries for disbursements across all branches.
• Verify, record, and process vendor invoices, credit notes, withholding tax (WHT), and tax invoices.
• Record depreciation, recurring accruals, prepaid/insurance expenses, and inter-bank or inter-company transfer entries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in General Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), or Finance.
• Direct experience in AP / Vendor / Bank / GL reconciliation, 3-way matching, payment execution, and vendor payment tracking.
• Hands-on experience in Dynamics AX, Oracle, or major ERP systems.
• Proficient in Excel - advanced functions (e.g., complex formulas, Pivot Tables, data manipulation).
