Accounting Officer

The Accounting Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role supports audits, financial planning, and management decision-making by delivering reliable financial data.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, Finance, or related field.
2. Must be knowledgeable in tax reporting and bookkeeping.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and reporting.
4. Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
7. Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in financial reporting is an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record, reconcile, and monitor financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
• Provide financial data and analysis to assist management decisions.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain proper records.
• Contribute to process improvements in financial reporting.
