Accounting Officer

We are SFC 1, 4, 9 licensed corporation offering Asset Management, funds and securities investment services to various clients.

Job duties:

• Handle full set of accounts, perform daily accounting functions including bookkeeping, reconciliations, daily/monthly closing, vouchers inputs, payment and bank reconciliation for SFC Type 1/4/9 licensed companies;
• Prepare daily clients fund reconciliation & segregation;
• Handle daily/monthly FRR and other regulatory reporting in accordance with SFC requirements;
• Monitor the company’s liquidity capital to ensure that it accomplish the SFC statutory requirements;
• Liaise with auditors and tax authorities on audit and tax issues;
• Assist with staff expense claim review, verify supporting documents and compliance with internal expense policies;
• Any ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Higher Diploma holder or above in Accounting and Finance, or related disciplines;
• At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in securities brokerage or asset management company;
• Strong hands-on experience in handling full-set accounts for SFC Type 1/4/9 licensed companies;
• Experience in fund accounting/ NAV calculation is an advantage;
• Solid knowledge of Hong Kong SFC regulatory requirements, particularly FRR and liquid capital management;
• Experience in using SAGE and Ayers Settlement System (BOS) is a strong advantage;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Immediate availability is preferred;
• Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English, with good command of Mandarin.
