  • Support benefit administration and respond to routine staff inquiries
  • Support statutory remittances and payroll reconciliations

General Accounting

  • Prepare bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
  • Support journal entries and month-end/year-end close
  • Support audit preparation and working papers
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready accounting records

Team & Process Support

  • Provide flexible coverage across AP, AR, and Payroll as needed
  • Support documentation of accounting procedures and process/workflow improvements (e.g., Sage 50, Payworks)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience preferred; exposure to AP, AR, and payroll support is an asset

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach, with a willingness to learn across multiple accounting functions
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines; experience with process improvement or automation is an asset
  • Knowledge of AI tools and their practical application in accounting and administrative processes will be considered an asset.
