Accounting Officer (CWB)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team at APEC Group International Limited based in Hong Kong. This full-time position will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the broader accounting functions in managing a retail properties portfolio.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Prepare and process journal entries, payments, bank reconciliation and other accounting matters
• Collaborate with the property management company and other internal departments to resolve accounting issues
• Provide support to the accounting team in various ad-hoc tasks and projects
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations

What we're looking for

• 0-2 years of experience as an Accounting Officer or similar role. Relevant accounting qualification (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA) preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willing to learn and take responsibility
• Proficiency in using accounting software is a plus
