ACCOUNTING OFFICER – E-COMMERCE

About the role

Responsible for end-to-end e-commerce accounting and reconciliation across multiple sales channels, ensuring accurate revenue, VAT, platform fees, settlements and inventory records to support timely monthly closing.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile sales from Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, Website Gateway and COD against orders, settlements and bank statements.
• Record sales, VAT, platform fees, commissions, refunds and returns accurately and on time.
• Track and clear unmatched, held or short-paid settlements.
• Prepare receipts, tax invoices and credit notes for marketplace and direct sales.
• Handle AP transactions, including platform/ads, 3PL, import duty & VAT, KOL/KOC payments, WHT, accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Map transactions to the correct Chart of Accounts & Cost Center by brand and channel.
• Reconcile 3PL stock reports and inventory records and support stock counts.
• Support monthly closing, including sales, margin, fees, cash and outstanding settlement reports.
• Support Accounting System / ERP implementation and improvement.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1–3 years of Accounting experience; E-commerce / Marketplace accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of VAT, Withholding Tax, AP/AR and account reconciliation.
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with high-volume transaction data.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Payment Gateway, 3PL or ERP systems is an advantage.
