Accounting OJT / Intern

About the role

Accounting Intern position supporting accounting operations and financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data entry of accounting transactions into the accounting system.
• Organize and maintain accounting files, records, and supporting documents.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Participate in year-end audits by gathering and organizing required documentation.
• Perform administrative tasks and other duties assigned by the team

About you

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accountancy, Accounting Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding in accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting software or Xero accounting system is an advantage but not required.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and journal entries.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or has a basic understanding of Excel functions and spreadsheets.
