About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an Accounting Paid Intern on a casual basis. Based in our Khlong Toei, Bangkok office, this internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in financial accounting and reporting within a professional services environment. This role will provide you with hands-on exposure to real-world accounting practices and an understanding of how financial information is prepared, recorded, and reported in compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

1. Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and general ledger accounts
2. Supporting the reconciliation of bank statements and account balances
3. Helping to process invoices, expense claims, and other accounting transactions
4. Assisting with the compilation of financial data for monthly and quarterly reporting
5. Supporting the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
6. Conducting basic data entry and verification of accounting information
7. Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
8. Supporting compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
9. Performing administrative tasks as required to support the accounting function

What we're looking for

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
2. Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
3. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and accounting software (exposure to accounting systems is beneficial but not essential)
4. Excellent organisational and time management abilities
5. Clear written and verbal Thai language skills
6. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and ask questions
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts
9. Reliability and professional demeanour
