Accounting Section Chief

Job Summary:
The Accounting Section Chief is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the accounting section and effectively managing the company's financial activities. This role requires extensive experience and expertise in areas such knowledge in Philippine Accounting Standards and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards, communication with audit firms, compliance with government regulations (BIR, SEC, PEZA, etc.), general accounting, cost accounting, tax accounting, treasury functions and all other areas of Accounting/Finance.

Job Details:
Supervise and provide leadership and overseas daily accounting operations.
Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial reports and ensure GAAP compliance.
Manage communication with audit firms, oversee audit processes, prepare Audited FInancial Statements and review audit reports.
Handle preparation, filing/submission, remittance and compliance of government returns and/or reports.
Conduct cost accounting and ensure accuracy.
Monitor, update and control the company's fixed assets ledger.
Knowledge in forecastig and cash flow preparation.
Attend to Treasury functions and deals with the bank's representatives.
Propose and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
Mentor, coach, and evaluate team members.
Maintain smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any accounting course.
• Experience with BIR filings and compliance and cost accounting.

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per hour

Experience:

• Cost accounting: 10 years (Preferred)
