Accounting Senior Staff

About the role

PT. Shinhan Indo Finance is seeking an experienced Accounting Senior Staff to join our Accounting team in Head Office East Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our accounting records and reporting processes. As a Senior Staff member, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations with regulatory accounting standards, and providing strategic support to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role.

• Experience in Multifinance or Financial Services industry is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent understanding of accounting controls, internal audit procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is strongly preferred.

• Professional accounting qualification or certification is preferred.

• Good communication skills in English.

• Willing to be placed at Head Office PT SIF Jakarta, Wisma Indomobil, East Jakarta.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements and accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, analysis and schedules for management and external stakeholders.

• Monitor and maintain proper documentation and filing systems for audit trails and regulatory compliance.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure quality work outputs

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, tax regulations and internal accounting policies.

• Liaise with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting-related issues.
