Accounting Specialist

Strategic Financial Planning:

• Strong understanding of financial modeling, accounting principles, and financial analysis. Will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long­-range financial plans, as well as developing and maintaining financial models for various business units and projects.
• Work closely with senior management to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Oversee the annual budgeting process and provide insightful analysis of variances.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts to guide decision-making.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Provide actionable insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Performance Reporting:

• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and metrics.
• Monitor and communicate financial performance against budget and forecasts.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant financial data and ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
• Support business units in understanding financial implications of their activities.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive initiatives to streamline reporting and enhance data integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis in a multinational company preferred
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting; knowledge in Anaplan is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
