Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team at MINTH ASIA PACIFIC CO., LTD.' in Rayong. This full-time position is responsible for managing accounts payable processes and providing support to the finance team. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

What you'll be doing

Accounts Payable (AP):

• Process vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation.

• Reconcile AP ledgers, resolve discrepancies, and process payments on time.

• Prepare weekly cash requirements for AP payments.

• Assist with month-end closing related to AP accounts.

• Liaise with vendors to resolve payment or invoice issues.

  General Ledger (GL):

• Post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare monthly reconciliations of various GL accounts.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Review GL transactions for proper classification and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

  Tax Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns (Sales Tax, Income Tax, VAT, etc.).

• Maintain accurate records for tax filings and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Assist with audits related to tax filings.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in accounts payable, General Ledger, and Tax
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheets
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
• Familiarity with Thai accounting regulations and practices
• Good command in English
