Position: Accounting Specialist

Department: Accounting

Location: Mandurriao Business Park, Iloilo

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Summary

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing of accounting transactions. The role works closely with internal departments to ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology, or any related course

• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience is an advantage

• Knowledgeable in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, reconciliation, and financial documentation

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, SAP experience is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify accounting transactions, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness

• Prepare account reconciliations, schedules, reports, and other accounting documents within established deadlines

• Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents

• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding accounting transactions and discrepancies

• Assist in month-end closing, audit requirements, and other accounting activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
