Accounting Specialist

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, or related disciplines,
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in general accounting, finance, and banking operations,
• Strong command of the Uniform Chart of Accounts, Turkish Tax Procedural Law (VUK), and e-Transformation processes (e-Invoice, e-Archive, e-Ledger),
• Hands-on experience using SAP (S/4HANA, FI/CO modules) ,
• Direct operational experience in managing banking relations, cash flow, and payment/POS collection processes,
• Military service completed for male candidates.

Job Description

• General Accounting & Posting Processes:
• Issuing/checking incoming and outgoing invoices for compliance with tax legislation, internal approval mechanisms, and budget codes, ensuring timely accounting entries.
• End-to-end execution of vendor/customer accounts, expense forms, reconciliations, and e-Transformation workflows.
• Banking & Financial Operations:
• Monitoring daily bank movements, bank statements, and entering corresponding SAP records.
• Assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports.
• Managing daily operational relations with banks, including wire transfers (EFT/remittance) and payment instruction workflows.
• Audit & Period-End Closing:
• Actively participating in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accrual and deferral entries.
• Managing communication with independent and tax auditors; preparing requested data, schedules, and financial tables.
• Providing data support to budgeting and financial reporting teams.
