Encore Pro Group builds software for live entertainment and culture. With Encore Pro and Yesplan, venues and event organisers manage their operations and connect with audiences. Our products serve theatres, concert halls and event venues across the Benelux, and our group is growing in Europe, the UK, the United States and beyond. We have engineering labs in Ghent and Edinburgh, and offices in London, Reykjavik and New York.

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support our international group. You will combine hands-on bookkeeping with financial reporting and help improve the way we work across entities, countries and systems.

What you will do

· Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across group entities, including purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, expenses and general ledger entries.

· Issue customer invoices, maintain billing details and apply contractual pricing and indexation; follow up on overdue payments and prepare supplier payments.

· Reconcile bank, customer and supplier accounts, including intercompany balances.

· Support monthly, quarterly and annual closings, VAT returns and other local reporting requirements, working with external accountants and advisers.

· Contribute to group financial reporting, audit preparation, budget monitoring, cash flow forecasts and financial analysis.

· Work with colleagues across countries to improve accounting processes and controls, automate recurring tasks and develop our systems.

What you bring

· A degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, and relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience.

· A sound understanding of reconciliations and closing processes, with a careful, reliable and structured approach to deadlines.

· Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounting software; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.

· Strong English communication skills; additional languages are welcome.

· The ability to work independently and collaborate with an international team. Experience with multiple entities, intercompany accounting or subscription-based businesses is a plus.

· A practical, proactive mindset and an interest in process improvement and automation.
