Accounting Specialist

As the Accounting to Report, you will be an active team player in building relationships and collaboration with our internal client the region, ensuring smooth operations of the following:

Job description

• Ensure the delivery of quality ATR services to the entities in scope, in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), the Epiroc Way, and local business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the Epiroc Business Code of Practice, Group accounting policies, and applicable financial reporting standards.
• Preparation and posting of journal entries and cash applications.
• Review and validation of financial statements, including the Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Review and analysis of the General Ledger (GL) to ensure proper account classification, accuracy of transactions, and consistency with supporting documentation.
• Review of journal entries to verify the accuracy of account postings, supporting documents, and compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
• Support in the preparation of monthly financial statements and monthly, quarterly, and annual disclosure reports for the Group Financial Controller.
• Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identification, investigation, and resolution of open, outstanding, or unreconciled items.
• Support the establishment and maintenance of strong accounting controls to ensure accurate, reliable, and stable financial processes.
• Support customer centers during internal and external audits by providing the necessary financial documents, responding to audit inquiries, and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of Group- and region-wide improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years working experience with background in ATR or General Ledger
• System knowledge in ERP is advantaged
• Proficient in MS Office, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to facilitate meetings, video/telephone conferences, and presentations
• Ability to do business presentations and regular client communication
• Great organizational and time management skills

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Open for Day or Night shift Schedule (Not Shifting)
