Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to handle general accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, accounts payable, and inventory accounting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and other accounting-related transactions.
• Handle inventory accounting and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare and assist with BIR tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and support internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Knowledge of BIR tax compliance and Philippine accounting regulations.
• Familiarity with accounts payable and inventory accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work onsite in Binondo, Manila.
