Accounting Staff – Audit

Accounting Staff – Audit is responsible for reviewing financial records, verifying accounting transactions, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial documents. The position supports internal audit activities, compliance with company policies and accounting procedures, and the identification of discrepancies and potential risks to ensure proper financial controls and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits and reviews of financial transactions, accounting records, and supporting documents
• Verify the accuracy, validity, and completeness of invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial documents
• Examine accounting entries and supporting schedules to ensure compliance with company policies and established procedures
• Identify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential control weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions
• Assist in conducting internal audits and preparing audit findings and reports
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions arising from audit findings
• Review and reconcile financial records, account balances, and supporting schedules
• Assist in the preparation and verification of journal entries and other accounting transactions
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and safekeeping of financial and audit records
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or a related role
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial documentation, and audit procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting applications
• Familiarity with account reconciliation, audit working papers, and internal control procedures
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in internal or external auditing is an advantage
