About the role

Green Asia Construction and Development Corporation is seeking an Accounting Staff to join our finance team in San Fernando, Pampanga. This is a full-time position offering a valuable opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic construction and development organisation. As Accounting Staff, you will be integral to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role offers hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting within a growing construction and development sector.

What you'll be doing

• Recording financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company accounting policies
• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts, journals, and subsidiary ledgers
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
• Supporting the audit process by preparing documentation and schedules as required
• Assisting with payroll processing and employee-related accounting matters
• Maintaining organised filing systems for financial documents and supporting records
• Collaborating with senior accounting personnel to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Supporting tax compliance and ensuring timely submission of financial reports

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel with strong data entry skills
• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process financial information
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks
• Clear communication abilities and a collaborative approach to working with team members
• Knowledge of construction industry accounting practices would be advantageous
• Professional demeanour with a commitment to confidentiality and data security
• Ability to work independently whilst being responsive to guidance and feedback
